Footage from Kenya’s Maasai Mara Nationwide Reserve exhibits a solitary topped crane standing up to a herd of elephants that had been acquiring just a minimal too close to its nest.
“The elephant appeared rather bemused by the predicament and remained curious as to why the chook was flapping its wings,” Tayla McCurdy, who shot the footage, informed Most recent Sightings, which posted the 2018 online video on its YouTube channel before this thirty day period.
McCurdy reported the elephant first tried out to brush off the chook with its trunk, then walked absent to graze in other places. The elephant obtained a tiny additional aggravated, however, when the hen attempted to menace a single of the calves.
