RENO, Nev. (AP) — A pigeon wearing a small sombrero in Reno was uncovered next sightings of its cowboy hat-sporting cousins in Las Vegas, a metropolis supervisor mentioned.
Reno Metropolis Manager Sabra Newby tweeted about the bird Wednesday, indicating it is quirky and fun but nonetheless inhumane, KOLO-Tv set described.
It is the first recognized sighting of hat-putting on birds in the location, Washoe County Regional Animal Companies officials said.
The sighting arrives immediately after a pigeon in Las Vegas with a miniature cowboy hat glued to its head died previously this week, animal officials explained.
People today who see the chook are encouraged to get in touch with animal services dispatch officers, officials stated.
It is unclear who set the hat on the fowl.
“Reno cares about our animals,” Newby reported. “They want protection and really don’t have to have to turn into a punchline.”
